📋 Description

• Design retrofit or new SCADA and control systems for substations, power plants, wind farms, solar plants, and other electrical power facilities • Develop high-level SCADA block diagrams indicating protocols, communications media, networking, addressing, and data flow • Coordinate SCADA scope on larger projects with vendors, owners, Telco/T1/Fiber providers, and other stakeholders • Develop complete design packages, including panel elevation drawings, equipment bills of materials, schematics and wiring diagrams, data mapping and points lists, device settings files, and NERC CIP documentation or procedures as necessary • Perform factory or on-site testing and commissioning, including installing cables, fibers, or equipment; troubleshooting communications issues; programming devices; and end-to-end functional testing • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination • Provide technical leadership • Work with project team members and produce project deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution; electric power option preferred • 1–4 years of relevant engineering or field experience • FE and PE are a plus, but not required • Experience with AutoCAD • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and other computer software • Effective written and oral communication skills • Good interpersonal and people skills • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
