📋 Description

• Research how people work across the platform using discovery interviews, journey mapping, and behavioral signals • Identify seams, bottlenecks, and handoffs that create user friction • Define experience direction and prioritize high-value interaction opportunities • Challenge, replace, simplify, or improve existing flows and interaction models • Use usability testing and experimentation to make evidence-based decisions • Partner with product managers and developers to build working, testable AI-assisted prototypes • Work hands-on with AI tools, prototyping tools, real content, and real data • Package results as clear before-and-after proof points grounded in user evidence • Translate research and prototypes into interaction patterns, platform experience direction, and a viable path forward

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years driving experience and product design in complex, technical environments • Strong track record using prototyping and testing to discover, validate, and evolve solutions • Ability to act with agency in ambiguous spaces and set direction without a predefined plan • Strong design judgment across workflows • Strong craft in interaction design, information architecture, and end-to-end flows • Experience designing self-serve and human-plus-AI interactions • Hands-on comfort with AI-enabled design and prototyping tools • Ability to operate across product, engineering, and experience functions • Background in workflow-oriented or systems design • Ability to turn problems and insights into tangible working prototypes or demos • Ability to synthesize user needs, business context, and technical constraints • Ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-team alignment without formal authority • High learning velocity and comfort with ambiguous, rapidly evolving problem spaces • Preferred: experience creating 0→1 experiences, ideally in workflow-heavy enterprise products or greenfield SaaS • Preferred: experience designing AI-enabled products, including human-plus-AI interaction patterns • Preferred: familiarity with design systems, interaction patterns, and guardrails • Preferred: exposure to evaluative and usability research
