📋 Description

• Lead design initiatives from concept through launch, collaborating with engineers and other designers to deliver high-quality user experiences • Apply design thinking to product development, solving real user problems with consistency and simplicity • Refine open-ended product ideas into actionable design directions through research, prototyping, and iteration • Create end-to-end mobile and web experiences balancing user needs, technical feasibility, business goals, visual quality, polish, and brand expression • Contribute to and evolve OpenSea’s design system across product surfaces • Help designers and engineers use emerging AI-powered tools and practices effectively • Explore and champion AI-enabled design workflows that improve team effectiveness • Communicate design rationale across disciplines and align teams around shared goals • Shape OpenSea’s design culture through strong craft, collaboration, and curiosity

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience across consumer and platform-facing products • Ability to own complex, ambiguous problem spaces and turn them into elegant, intuitive solutions • Strong product sense and strategic thinking in a lean product organization • Strong experience designing mobile-first products • Exceptional visual and interaction design skills • Portfolio demonstrating aesthetic judgment, systems thinking, and meticulous attention to detail • Experience building, scaling, or maintaining design systems, component libraries, or similar frameworks • Experience collaborating closely with engineers to ship technically informed designs • Experience leveraging AI tools and workflows for design quality, efficiency, and team effectiveness • Breadth across UI, UX, motion, and interaction, with strength in visual design and craft • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills • Required portfolio submission
