📋 Description

• Lead technical discussions across diverse teams in a matrix setting • Mentor developers on emerging and existing technologies and career development paths • Evaluate alternative directions in future architecture and platform development through modeling and prototyping • Ensure selected architecture achieves security, scalability, and resilience goals • Influence the design, architecture, and implementation of cloud-native frontend and backend experiences • Design and implement high-quality code for complex areas • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs, system architecture, and product requirements into software • Evangelize and distribute technical information • Present architectural initiatives to Autodesk management and gather feedback • Contribute to near- and long-term technology roadmaps • Champion industry best practices • Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud-native technologies including Material UI, React, Redux, Web Components, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and AWS-based server-side infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer or architect, with a strong focus on cloud technologies • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English • Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding and mentoring diverse teams • Demonstrated success leading architecture for commercial software systems globally deployed at scale • High ownership and collaborative spirit • Extensive knowledge of cloud-native development tools, languages, and frameworks • Working knowledge of LLMs and machine learning, including hands-on experience using machine learning tools in a development environment • Broad knowledge across software development and architecture, with deep expertise in one or two key domains • Ability to accommodate North American time zones during regular working hours
