📋 Description

• Design user-centered, visually compelling experiences that improve product usability and effectiveness while supporting business goals • Partner with User Research to translate insights into high-quality solutions • Create wireframes, polished visual designs, interactive prototypes, user flows, and reusable design system patterns • Articulate design goals and outcomes with stakeholders to build a shared vision • Foster relationships and collaborate with UX, research, product, and engineering teams • Create consistent brand experiences across multiple platforms and touchpoints • Design innovative experiences • Build deeper understanding of Availity products and services • Articulate an experience vision delivering near-term value while evolving long term • Produce user flows and wireframes based on research findings • Advocate for accessibility and encourage product and engineering management to prioritize accessible features

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience (UX) Design, Interaction Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, New Media, Interactive Digital Media or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience • Over two years of experience designing digital products • Demonstrated strength in visual design and UX processes • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual design and UX thinking, including user experience designs involving product development and development teams • Portfolio link required; password-protected portfolios must include the password • Strong familiarity with Figma • Thorough question asking and note taking skills • Adaptability in a quickly changing environment • User empathy and natural curiosity • Ability to quickly grasp new situations, synthesize large amounts of information, and find answers • Strong familiarity with accessibility/508 Compliance • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across disciplines • Experience engaging directly with users to gather insights, validate concepts, and test designs or hypotheses • Self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision while prioritizing work from multiple sources • Eastern/Central Time Zones preferred • Sponsorship in any form is not available • Must be able to use a camera for all virtual meetings • Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment • Experience with behavioral analytics such as Google Analytics or Pendo is a plus • Experience writing, recruiting, and conducting usability studies, analyzing and synthesizing results, and presenting to stakeholders is a plus • Experience within the healthcare technology space is a plus
