📋 Description

• Develop detailed business requirements for software implementation projects • Create comprehensive As-Is and To-Be business process model and notation documentation, including workflow diagrams • Map requirements to phased implementation schedules to support software selection, configuration, implementation, and testing • Analyze existing business processes, operations, and organizational structures; identify gaps and recommend improvements • Advise, consult, and provide technical assistance to client agencies during project implementation • Collaborate with client users to define requirements, resolve issues, and translate requirements into system design documents • Coordinate system design and implementation requirements with vendors • Assess business opportunities, define problems, and propose solutions • Evaluate software and hardware systems and identify technologies that enhance operations • Collaborate with departments and the leadership/management team to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness • Produce business requirements and other project documentation • Create design documents for reviewed applications • Assist systems analysts and developers with functional specifications, test plans, and scripts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university • Entry to mid-level experience; recent graduates considered • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in developing business requirements, design documents, and relevant life cycle documents • Ability to create precise and effective technical documentation • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess the feasibility and suitability of information technology projects • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Industry knowledge and understanding of information technology principles and practices • Understanding of business operations, processes, procedures, and methods for analyzing and evaluating them • Knowledge of planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer information systems • Familiarity with language models is a plus • Willingness to work on stand-alone projects and collaborate with the leadership/management team • Must be located in the United States and willing to travel as needed
