📋 Description

• Query and analyze data related to quality measures and accurately report findings to departments and Executive Leadership • Design, implement, and maintain data extracts from enterprise data stores for internal and external customers • Assist with implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) • Create analytics, visualizations, reports, and presentations that enable actionable insights • Create ad-hoc reports and provide analytic support while gathering user requirements and confirming user acceptance • Automate business processes, including on-demand reports and interactive dashboards • Analyze monthly and quarterly performance measure reporting • Design and implement ETL solutions, including SQL programming • Design and code systems, programs, and interfaces using structured programming techniques and appropriate languages • Oversee and mentor junior analysts • Track and resolve processing issues • Analyze files and map data between systems • Develop programs, time estimates, and project schedules based on business requirements • Communicate work status to stakeholders and management • Participate in corporate quality and data governance programs • Maintain knowledge of technology developments and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year of experience in computer programming (SQL), query design, data management technologies and techniques, and databases (Level 1) • 2 years of experience in computer programming (SQL), query design, data management technologies and techniques, and databases (Level 2) • 3 years of experience in computer programming (SQL), query design, data management technologies and techniques, and databases (Level 3) • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Statistics, Applied Math, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or another related field • Intermediate skill in office equipment, PC proficiency, spreadsheet, database, and word processing software • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Ability to perform systems research and analysis and write and present technical documentation • Knowledge of business requirements development and user acceptance testing • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy • Ability to facilitate and resolve customer requests and inquiries for all levels of management • Ability to comply with BCBSAZ corporate and departmental policies and procedures, including HIPAA, compliance, accreditation, attendance, staff qualifications, and quality management requirements
