📋 Description

• Analyze existing systems and business processes • Identify process and system improvement strategies • Develop business cases for process and technology improvements • Assist with project management activities to deliver approved system and service enhancements • Represent the needs of various business units across the University • Collaborate within the ITS team to implement infrastructure, functionality, and support measures • Lead project teams and institutional leadership teams using BABOK methodologies • Lead projects using PMBOK methodologies • Apply Six Sigma methodologies for business process improvement • Lead university portfolio management processes • Serve as primary customer contact for understanding core business operations and identifying improvement opportunities • Prioritize time and resources according to university and departmental priorities • Conduct needs assessments and identify business requirements • Eliminate repetitive manual processes • Identify impacts of new or changed systems and processes and guide implementation • Coordinate with ITS staff, functional users, and vendors on security, sustainability, disaster recovery, and business continuity • Develop functional requirements, workflow diagrams, project plans, project schedules, responsibility assignment matrices, and project documentation • Keep project, communication, testing, and training documentation updated within three business days of approved changes • Communicate project purpose, goals, objectives, and plans • Establish timelines and coordinate resources to deliver solutions within approved time and budget parameters • Independently manage assigned projects and project components • Plan for account provisioning, user access, system integration, and data security/integrity • Establish partnerships with business units and ITS teams to resolve operational issues • Analyze root causes and develop documentation, training, and tip sheets • Analyze business processes and systems to maximize resources and university ROI • Perform other special projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst • Project Management experience is highly desirable • CRM implementation/optimization experience is highly desirable • Salesforce implementation/optimization experience is highly desirable • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Business Analyst certification is a plus • Business process improvement credentials are a plus • Project Management certification is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills • Positive attitude and solutions oriented thinking • MS Word • MS Excel • Project management tools • Workflow diagramming tools • Ability to work in a virtual environment using software technology including virtual meeting tools, Instant Messaging, and Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) • Ability to efficiently operate a computer and its peripheral equipment • Ability to sit or stand for six to eight hours • Ability to work at least 40 hours a week
