📋 Description

• Manage and grow customer accounts within the assigned US-West territory • Manage and maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline for monthly/quarterly forecasting • Deliver customer presentations and product demonstrations • Lead and close complex sales opportunities directly • Collaborate with Azenta product line teams to offer complete solutions • Identify and develop new leads and business opportunities • Partner with distributor representatives to drive sales • Serve as a trusted resource for customers and distributors • Travel throughout the territory up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required (Biology or Life Sciences preferred) • 2+ years relevant experience in account management selling to various stakeholders in a lab environment in a designated region/territory • Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales goals • Experience with and knowledge of the sample storage and/or molecular biology market is desirable • Keen business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills • Consultative approach to managing client relationships • Confident written and oral communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders of internal and external organizations • Knowledge and expertise of sample biopreservation, biobanking, cell cryopreservation, gene therapy, and drug discovery highly desirable • Valid driver's license required • Stable home office setup capable of supporting virtual meetings and demos • Frequent business travel availability, up to 25%
