📋 Description

• Partner directly with clients to understand desired outcomes and translate them into actionable direction for engineering • Lead engineers and act as technical product manager for accounts • Define what should be built, why it matters, and how success will be measured • Review system architecture, evaluate data pipeline designs, assess API integrations, and perform technical requirements analysis • Push back constructively on unclear or low-value client requests • Hold the development team accountable to commitments and quality while partnering with engineering • Plan and coordinate project delivery • Track budgets and forecast project needs • Keep workstreams aligned with deliverables • Maintain awareness of how projects support client and company goals • Use and refine project management processes, tooling, and automation • Provide feedback on operational process gaps

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4+ years of project, program, and/or product management experience leading technology initiatives with mid- to large-size customers • Hands-on experience working with, deploying or supporting AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions • Ability to translate between technical users and business stakeholders • Strong technical literacy in system architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and ML model deployment • Proven track record delivering custom-built software and data solutions with measurable business impact • Domain proficiency or expertise in energy, utilities, real estate, logistics, climate, or infrastructure • Demonstrated success supporting or managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices • Tenacious problem-solving approach • Bias toward outcomes over tasks • Growth-oriented learning mindset and adaptability • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Must be able to travel 2x/year for company summits and occasional client visits • AZX is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas
