📋 Description

• Build and run detailed performance models for integrated data center thermal systems • Partner internally with modeling and simulation teams to harness best practices • Develop and implement simulation models to analyze the thermal, fluid, and electrical performance of systems • Collaborate with lead engineers to define simulation requirements and influence design strategy • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance modeling processes • Analyze system performance across various operating conditions • Support the development of customer-specific reference designs by providing performance simulation data • Assist in developing system selection and configuration tools • Create models targeting key customer KPIs like PUE, WUE, and carbon emissions reduction • Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior engineers • Represent the company in industry standards bodies like ASHRAE

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering • Expertise in using modeling and simulation software (e.g., CFD, Ansys) for thermal analysis • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or MATLAB • Strong background in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer • Experience in modeling complex, multi-component systems • Ability to work flexibly across different engineering disciplines and projects • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners • Experience with PLC controls is a plus • Knowledge of HVAC products, components, and systems is desired • Strong technical skills with a natural curiosity and enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills
