📋 Description

• Own and manage all internal construction and work order billing • Set up and maintain construction jobs, budgets, and job codes in Yardi • Review construction contracts and change orders for accounting accuracy • Prepare construction billing schedules and proformas • Ensure proper capitalization and project closeout • Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and Fund Accounting teams to support general ledger, close, and reporting activities as needed • Prepare and post monthly journal entries • Prepare and complete monthly bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and other supporting schedules timely and accurately

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required • 2+ years of accounting experience required • Real estate, multifamily, construction and/or property accounting experience strongly preferred • Strong Excel skills required • Experience with Yardi strongly preferred • Strong knowledge of GAAP required • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
