📋 Description

• Translate emerging customer needs and technologies into actionable business terms and plans • Prioritize enhancement requests and initiatives for electronic channels • Develop technology solutions and review digital project designs and content • Provide mentorship in strategy, research, benchmarking, business analysis, and implementation of electronic solutions • Support end users and vendors with RFIs/RFPs, ROI calculations, budgets, and strategic specifications • Establish and manage dashboards communicating initiative objectives and progress • Oversee data analysis and fact-based decision-making • Educate and influence stakeholders on effective electronic channel use • Create strategic technology plans • Guide design, implementation, and maintenance of complex application and system specifications and processes • Lead or participate in taskforces and facility activities to improve IT service quality and efficiency • Investigate, track, and resolve complex project, system, and application errors • Design and administer application and end-user documentation standards and policies • Develop integrated testing scenarios across information systems, levels, and states • Maintain healthcare industry and technical knowledge through workshops, conferences, networks, and relevant certifications or licensure • Resolve customer issues and conflicting priorities while staying within budget • Serve as a high-level owner for selected information applications or systems • Participate in meetings, presentations, visioning, strategy, planning, and implementation activities company-wide

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and healthcare experience • Seven plus years of progressive experience in a healthcare environment • Substantial knowledge of information technology, healthcare, and/or operations for an assigned specialty area • Significant proven leadership experience in large-scale project planning, reporting, and budgeting • Experience with specific IT process methodology depending on assigned areas of responsibility may be required • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills • Ability to lead, communicate, and interact across facilities and at various levels • Skills and experience to recruit, mentor, motivate, evaluate, and retain staff • Variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a pager may be required • Additional related education and/or experience preferred
