• Partner with the business to gather requirements, evaluate, develop, and implement customer-focused solutions • Partner with IT teams and subject matter experts to prioritize projects and monitor progress • Ensure appropriate project resourcing and timely delivery of deliverables • Formulate system scope and objectives relative to company requirements • Participate in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, planning sessions, implementation activities, and system-wide support functions • Define, design, and modify specifications and processes for complex information systems • Establish system documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies • Understand internal customer analytical, technology, and reporting needs and recommend actionable solutions • Facilitate cross-functional teams and lead departmental or company-wide projects • Provide oversight, change management, work direction, or leadership to team members • Establish technology processes, documentation, and quality standards • Mentor junior team members and guide complex application and system design, implementation, and maintenance • Analyze and report on complex customer needs and research new system and application developments • Collaborate on application design, system optimization, complex model programming, and large data feeds • Develop and track key performance indicators • Design and administer application and end-user documentation standards and policies • Troubleshoot complex issues and escalate them as needed • Maintain current professional and technical knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Computer Sciences, Process Engineering, Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field • Four to seven years of experience or equivalent in reporting and/or analytics in clinical, financial, insurance, utilization, patient satisfaction, supply chain, HR, clinical application configuration, or related field • Significant knowledge of cross-functional departments • Strong project management skills • Ability to work independently and manage large, multiple projects and complex reports • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills • Strong technical skills, including SQL/ANSI SQL, SAS, Tableau, Excel, or clinical software applications • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm normal business hours • Must live in one of the listed states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, or Wyoming • Preferred: experience with system implementation and project management • Preferred: experience with Cerner, NextGen, Centricity, TSI, Quality Advisor, SAS, or SSRS • Preferred: master’s degree or higher in a relevant field
