📋 Description

• Schedule patient appointments for diagnostic, surgical, therapy, physician office visits, and other procedures/treatments • Obtain and verify demographic and insurance information • Register patients and enter data into the scheduling system • Work in a call center environment • Meet individual quality metrics • Provide professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, families, employees, physicians, and community members

🎯 Requirements

• High school, certificate, GED, training, or experience • Complete and pass the Patient Access training course • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Detail-oriented and organized • Team player with compassion and excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills • Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology desired • Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and EMR applications • Accurate typing skills • Knowledge of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare coverage structure, including medical necessity compliance guidelines • Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole preferred • Less than 1 year of minimum required experience
