📋 Description

• Complete varied duties supporting the revenue cycle, compliance, and patient experience. • Accurately and efficiently perform registration, financial screening, verification, and patient throughput tasks. • Meet individual collection goals. • Maintain a close working relationship with clinical team members to ensure a seamless and positive patient and caregiver experience. • Deploy legal, ethical, and compliance-related documents and present and thoroughly explain them to patients at registration. • Provide professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, families, employees, physicians, and community members. • Support Emergency Department and BOS Digital Registration operations.

🎯 Requirements

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper. • Complete and pass the Patient Access training course. • Ability to work in a fast-paced public health setting or Revenue Cycle setting with demonstrated experience in payment collection, such as billing, sales, and collection/Customer Service. • In lieu of degree and/or experience, a highly motivated individual that has the ability to satisfactorily demonstrate and/or role play required skills in a professional manner with a clear and convincing ability to excel in the role. • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. • Detail oriented, organized, team player, compassionate, excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to multitask and have an agile mindset. • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines to include, but not limited to, HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, etc. (Desired) • Understanding of insurance contracts, collections, authorizations and pre-certifications, Microsoft Office products, and EMR applications, etc. • Knowledge of medical terminology. • Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole preferred. • Essential staff availability to work weekends, holidays, and during disastrous events. • Minimum required experience: less than 1 year.
