📋 Description

• Install, start up, and commission equipment at customer facilities • Troubleshoot and program PLCs and automation controls • Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and controls issues • Perform equipment upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance • Train customer operators and maintenance personnel • Document service activities, programming changes, and installation reports • Interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings • Maintain a safe, professional work environment • Travel approximately 75–80% throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, with possible international travel • Work primarily at customer manufacturing facilities in industrial environments

🎯 Requirements

• Field Service Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Controls Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field • Field Service Technician: Associate degree or technical certificate in a related field; OR high school diploma/GED with 7+ years of relevant industrial experience • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience preferred • Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic • Strong customer service and communication skills • Microsoft Office proficiency; CAD/SolidWorks experience is a plus • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities • Frequent travel with overnight stays and extended time away from home • Ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and work around machinery • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and more with assistance • Maintain visual and mental focus for troubleshooting and service work • Weekend, holiday, and extended-hour work may be required • Applicants may be subject to pre-employment screening, including drug screening, reference checks, employment verifications, background screening, and/or skills assessments • Must be eligible for employment in the United States; organization uses E-Verify
