📋 Description

• Manage and grow a team of RCM associates and contractors, handling hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. You care about your team's success and build a culture where people do great work. • Own the daily execution of the revenue cycle, including medical coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and A/R follow-up, with a weekly rhythm that keeps work on track and clears blockers fast. • Own high-priority projects end-to-end, from new client implementations to process overhauls and system rollouts, scoping the work, lining up the right resources, and keeping leadership informed as you drive to the finish line. • Track and report on KPIs like clean claim rate, days in A/R, and net collection rate, flagging trends and recommending improvements to the Head of RCM. • Show up in key client conversations, making sure your team's work builds trust and strengthens the relationship, while the Head of RCM owns the account overall. • Keep the team's work compliant with HIPAA and payer-specific guidelines, and build the processes and documentation that keep things consistent as the team grows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, or healthcare operations, with at least 2 years managing mid-size teams in a fast-paced environment • Strong proficiency in leveraging RCM technology, such as clearinghouses, EHR/PM systems, and advanced tools for managing denials • Strong track record of driving projects to completion: organized, proactive, and consistent in follow-through • Analytical mindset with experience using operational data to manage team performance and surface insights • Strong people management skills, with experience hiring, coaching, and developing a remote team of associates and/or contractors • History of meaningful client engagement, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust with external stakeholders • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
