• Translate market, customer, clinical, operational, and business requirements into technical requirements, solution concepts, user stories, acceptance criteria, and development plans • Act as the primary liaison among business stakeholders, product leadership, engineering, architecture, IT, bioinformatics/genomic technology, laboratory, R&D, digital products, customer experience, quality, and other partners • Develop and manage technical product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature backlogs, process flows, and implementation-ready documentation • Prioritize work based on customer value, business impact, operational needs, technical feasibility, risk, dependencies, and resource constraints • Collaborate across engineering, UX, quality, operations, laboratory, commercial, clinical, R&D, customer experience, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle • Support timely delivery, implementation, change readiness, adoption, and measurable value realization • Analyze product metrics, customer feedback, market trends, workflow data, system capabilities, technical constraints, and implementation tradeoffs • Evaluate solution options, document workflows, define integration needs, clarify system impacts, and surface risks and dependencies • Maintain expertise in clinical products, genetic testing workflows, bioinformatics/genomic technology, digital and operational systems, customer needs, competition, and market dynamics • Support rollout through documentation, stakeholder communication, testing, workflow readiness, adoption tracking, and post-implementation feedback • Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement of internal and customer-facing workflows and solution quality
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, genetics, bioinformatics, healthcare, business, or a related field • 10 years of experience in technical product management in diagnostics, genomics, or a related field • Experience in IT, R&D, or another technical field • Experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives in a clinical, healthcare, laboratory, or regulated environment • Ability to translate clinical, market, customer, and partner insights into product requirements, technical solutions, and implementation and testing plans • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered • Preferred: advanced degree such as MS, PhD, or MBA • Knowledge of internal systems, data flows, integrations, digital platforms, bioinformatics/genomic technology, laboratory workflows, and technical dependencies • Ability to manage roadmaps, feature backlogs, dependencies, sequencing, and prioritization • Ability to use product metrics, customer feedback, workflow data, operational indicators, quality measures, market insights, and technical constraints for product decisions
