📋 Description

• Act as the primary point person for retail leadership data requests • Clarify, prioritize, track, and deliver data requests with appropriate urgency and quality • Translate business questions into analytical plans, data requirements, success measures, and executive-ready outputs • Deliver recurring and ad hoc analysis on retail performance, producer productivity, book segmentation, sales activity, revenue, margin, operational trends, and leadership priorities • Create narratives, visual summaries, and recommendations for leaders • Partner with BI, data engineering, and data product teams to ensure accurate, consistent, governed reporting • Convert repeated ad hoc requests into scalable dashboards, curated datasets, or standardized self-service reporting assets • Maintain knowledge of retail business processes, data sources, definitions, and data quality considerations • Mentor analysts on analytical approach, storytelling, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, retail analytics, or a related field • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business stakeholders and translate complex business questions into actionable analysis • Strong SQL skills • Experience working with governed datasets, semantic models, reporting layers, or enterprise data warehouses • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling skills • Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, finance, business, computer science, information systems, or a related field (preferred) • Experience in insurance brokerage, retail operations, financial services, or similarly complex matrixed environments (preferred) • Experience with data governance, metric definition, data quality review, and executive dashboard quality assurance (preferred) • Familiarity with Python, R, advanced Excel, data modeling, or cloud data platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric (preferred)
