📋 Description

• Implement growth-focused human capital strategies supporting business objectives across Brown & Brown’s Retail Business Segment • Lead the Team Resources Business Partner function, including assigning coverage, coaching, developing, and evaluating regional TRBPs • Serve as the primary Team Resources leader for division presidents and senior business leaders • Translate business strategy into a human capital vision, priorities, and execution plans • Coach leaders on expectations, feedback, recognition, accountability, underperformance, conflict resolution, and difficult people decisions • Partner on organizational design, workforce planning, staffing levels, and compensation alignment • Evaluate organizational effectiveness, talent capacity, role clarity, spans and layers, leadership bench strength, and retention risk • Execute hiring plans and improve hiring outcomes in partnership with Talent Acquisition • Oversee talent review, succession planning, leadership development, career pathing, internal mobility, and learning initiatives • Provide guidance on policy interpretation, documentation, investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, and risk mitigation • Support compliance with employment laws, regulations, company policies, and internal audit standards • Lead the people side of acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, restructurings, office expansions or consolidations, and other organizational changes • Provide strategic counsel to business office leaders and synthesize teammate feedback for leadership decision-making • Identify challenges and drive innovative solutions that optimize organic growth, margin, and scalability

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university • 15+ years of experience in strategic leadership across functions directing substantial resources • Demonstrated success leading Team Resources teams with responsibility for talent acquisition, workforce development, employment practices, training, and leader development outcomes • Experience partnering with Finance, Technology, and other business leaders on workforce plans, talent forecasts, business performance metrics and reports, and talent-gap strategies • MBA or MA/MS in business or a human resources-related field (preferred) • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) (preferred) • Prior insurance industry experience (preferred)
