📋 Description

• Process daily import files to update insurance records with current vendor information • Review rejected loans before finalizing daily insurance disbursements • Monitor and respond to the team email inbox • Review closing documents in the imaging system for research • Complete reports and logs and send policies or information to the vendor • Analyze monthly lender-placed insurance bills and make payments • Create and maintain procedure documents • Research insurance lines during monthly analysis • Respond to HOA research items, request payments, and send letters to obtain amounts due • Process daily flood files for newly activated loans and submit them to the flood vendor • Reconcile flood files for transferred loans • Monitor deposits and disbursements for Loss Draft funds between SMS and the insurance vendor • Perform other assigned duties and special projects

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required • Proficient with MS Office • Exceptional telephone demeanor • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality • 1–3 years’ experience in a similar position • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Basic understanding of Loss Mitigation, REO, Bankruptcy, and Foreclosure • Ability to research and comprehend state laws and regulations • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multi-task • Time management and organization • Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial-related discipline • Preferred: Experience in a mortgage banking or real estate financing environment • Ability to perform repetitive motion and use keyboard, mouse, and telephone 7–8 hours per day • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7–8 hours per day • Vision sufficient for computer monitor use • Ability to sit at a desk 7–8 hours per day
