📋 Description

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and prospective agricultural producers • Drive profitable growth within an assigned territory through prospecting, referrals, networking, and community engagement • Educate producers on crop insurance programs, products, and risk management strategies tailored to their operations • Conduct customer reviews and provide consultative coverage recommendations based on each producer’s goals and risk profile • Achieve established sales, retention, and growth objectives within assigned territory • Utilize company technology and CRM tools to manage customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activity • Gather, document, and submit accurate customer information required for policy administration and compliance following RMA policy and regulations • Partner with Agent Support Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and Approved Insurance Providers processing teams to ensure a positive customer experience • Maintain required licensing, carrier appointments, and continuing education requirements • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, product enhancements, and company initiatives • Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer success

🎯 Requirements

• Current crop insurance license or obtain all required licensing and appointments • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and earn customer trust • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Agricultural background or knowledge of farming operations preferred • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams • Proficiency with technology and customer relationship management (CRM) tools • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as business needs require
