📋 Description

• Complete pharmacy claims audits to ensure compliance with PBM contracts • Facilitate calls with PBMs and obtain claims audit data • Perform data loading, data quality checks, and data reconciliation • Run and analyze Oracle output reports and perform ad-hoc analysis • Review PBM contracts and complete audit support documentation • Work with the client support team to develop PBM and client deliverables • Plan and develop audit approaches for assigned projects according to Remedy internal Audit Standards • Work simultaneously on multiple audits with differing deadlines • Analyze and quality-check master files, profiles, and table changes • Maintain and improve audit automation transforms • Track open audit observations and follow up on remediation efforts • Draft audit reports communicating analysis results • Perform daily/weekly ad-hoc data analytics requests • Re-evaluate system functionality and identify operational efficiency improvements • Develop tools, templates, and reporting for process improvement initiatives • Aid in training new internal audit staff • Comply with regulatory compliance areas, policies, procedures, HIPAA requirements, and leading practices • Complete quality checks for junior-level auditors • Develop audit automation transforms for new PBMs • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prototype solutions and validate data pipelines using Python and SQL

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias • Highly proficient in database table creation/management, ETL process, complex Oracle/SQL queries, and code maintenance • Dimensional Model understanding and experience manipulating models, developing, and executing on business logic • Relevant experience demonstrating problem-solving, financial acumen, and analytical output • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, respond quickly to oversight, follow instruction closely, anticipate needs, and develop efficiencies on repeat tasks • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience developing and maintaining effective, collaborative working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders • Strong project ownership and ability to manage high project volume effectively • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytics skills with ability to work in a cross-functional team • Ability to adapt to changes in direction and priorities in a project- and deadline-oriented environment • 3-5 years of experience working with Pharmacy claims data (required) • Pharmacy claims audit experience and/or knowledge of pharmacy claims data (required) • Experience in Project Management (preferred but not required) • Experience with version control (git, bitbucket) (preferred but not required) • Familiarity with visualization tools (PowerBI/SSRS preferred) (preferred but not required) • Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, general data manipulation techniques) (preferred but not required) • Familiarity with low code to no code solutions (preferred but not required)
