📋 Description

• Develop models for pricing, forecasting, or valuation of Commercial and Government lines of business • Retrieve and/or prepare data for model development • Monitor emerging experience and analyze actual versus expected results • Present technical work results to supervisor and peers • Prepare documentation of methods and assumptions used in models and experience monitoring • Perform technical peer review for others in the Actuarial Division • Work with actuarial models to set reserves, estimate and review risk adjustment, produce monthly forecasts, and develop premiums • Help shape AI use within Actuarial by working with AI models and development tools to build applications, automate workflows, and enhance actuarial analysis • Collaborate with Actuarial teams across BCBST

🎯 Requirements

• Entry-level actuarial student • BS or BA Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field required • Completion of 1 or more Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams required • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Sponsorship is not available for this position
