📋 Description

• Lead full-cycle executive search for corporate-function leadership roles, typically Director through Vice President • Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to define missions, expected outcomes, leadership competencies, minimum requirements, assessment criteria and search strategies • Facilitate disciplined intake, calibration and weekly update meetings • Keep stakeholders aligned on market feedback, candidate quality, pipeline health, timing, risks and decisions • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies including market mapping, direct sourcing, competitor research, talent intelligence and confidential executive outreach • Build and maintain broad, qualified executive pipelines supporting immediate hiring needs, succession priorities and future corporate-function capabilities • Conduct structured executive assessments, including behavioral interviewing, leadership capability evaluation, motivation analysis, career risk assessment and alignment to BD values and culture • Provide senior leaders with market insight, talent availability, competitor intelligence and compensation context • Manage executive candidates through confidential processes from initial engagement through interviews, selection, offer, close and transition • Partner with Total Rewards, HR, Legal, Mobility and other teams on compensation review, restrictive agreement review, offer strategy and closing • Maintain accurate search data, reporting and governance in approved recruiting systems • Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, posting requirements, employment laws, data privacy standards and confidentiality expectations • Contribute to continuous improvement of executive search processes, tools, templates, technology and stakeholder and candidate experience standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Advanced degree or relevant HR or recruiting certification preferred • Typically 7 or more years of progressive recruiting experience, including significant executive search experience in a global corporation, retained search firm or complex matrixed environment • Demonstrated success recruiting senior leaders across multiple corporate functions • Proven ability to influence senior executives, HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders through consultative partnership, market insight and disciplined search execution • Expertise in direct sourcing, talent mapping, market research, executive assessment, pipeline management, offer negotiation and executive-level candidate engagement • Experience leading multiple confidential, business-critical and geographically dispersed searches while maintaining quality, responsiveness and clear communication • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to use ATS/CRM data, market intelligence and search metrics to guide decisions and improve delivery • Experience in medical technology, life sciences, healthcare or another highly regulated global industry preferred
