📋 Description

• Lead the company’s US immigration program and serve as the senior subject matter expert and primary point of contact • Provide internal client consulting and support for foreign nationals across the business • Oversee employment-based immigration filings, including H-1B, F-1, TN, O-1, L-1, and E-3 visas, permanent resident processing, and USCIS requests for evidence • Ensure timely immigration renewals and extensions and prevent work authorization gaps • Counsel employees and coordinate with attorneys, business support, HR, and internal stakeholders • Present immigration regulation updates and information to business leaders and HR personnel • Monitor immigration processes, analyze escalation root causes, and design process improvements • Collaborate with legal counsel, HR teams, and business leadership to maintain compliance with US regulations • Harmonize immigration policies and procedures across entities and establish efficient program administration • Design US domestic immigration processes and communicate policies and procedures to stakeholders • Provide strategic consultation as a trusted advisor, coach, and partner • Develop and deliver immigration program and procedure training • Coordinate immigration-related dependencies with Payroll, Employment Law, and I-9/People Compliance • Assess legislative changes in the US immigration landscape and analyze their impact • Communicate with the Department of Homeland Security regarding FDNS audits and requests for evidence

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Minimum of 3–5 years of solid immigration experience in a large corporate environment within a Human Resources or Legal department • US immigration experience handling large volumes of immigrant and non-immigrant matters, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, and LPR (Green Card) processes, including PERM Labor Certification • Strong knowledge of US employment-based immigration • Ability to identify potential uses of available visas to support business units • Knowledge of government affairs, legal landscape, and policy-making principles • Detail-oriented with strong focus on quality control • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maturity • Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and presentation abilities • Sound judgment when reviewing policy exception requests • Tact when interacting with associates, managers, and Human Resources colleagues • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Ability to work in the United States
