📋 Description

• Focus on channel partner development and enablement for RUCKUS channel partners in fourteen northeastern states • Perform technical demos and proof-of-concept trials • Deliver technical training individually and in larger group settings • Provide network design input and review • Conduct solution-focused selling and positioning to decision-makers • Deliver presentations for customers, partners, prospects, and events • Perform pre-sales engineering network design, RF passive and/or active planning, bill of material creation, sales opportunity engagement, and technical training • Identify and drive development of territory account plans based on business economics, industry trends, and vertical markets • Maintain working knowledge of RUCKUS Networks wireless, wired, and software solutions • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners and competitively position RUCKUS solutions • Assist Territory and/or Partner Account Managers in driving revenue and selling solutions to achieve quota goals • Support and manage troubleshooting of complex problems

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must reside in Virginia, Maryland, DC, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, or Connecticut, or be willing to relocate at their own expense • Undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/BA minimum) in Electrical Engineering, Networking Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent proven work-related experience • Minimum 5 years of pre-sales or equivalent experience working with routers, switches, and Wi-Fi technologies • Professional or associate-level networking industry certification such as CCNA, BPIPA, JNCIA, Cisco, Aruba, RUCKUS, CWNA, etc. preferred • Strong ability to support and manage troubleshooting of complex problems • Highly effective technical presentation skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent troubleshooting skills • Proficient understanding of pre-sales engineering, technical sales processes, and critical account management • Ability to communicate written and oral technical solutions to executive-level decision-makers and varied audiences • Advanced understanding of partner business drivers and mapping them to customer network environments • Working knowledge of 802.11 Wi-Fi technology evolution (Wi-Fi 5, 6, 7), network design and assessment, predictive heat map creation, wireless troubleshooting and optimization, IP routing and switching, WAN/LAN design, setup and configuration, Layer 4-7 application services, security authentication, SASE, SD-WAN, RADIUS, AD, virtualization environments, VM installations, secure device/user onboarding solutions, and related technologies • DevOps/REST or other common API programming knowledge a plus • General knowledge of cloud services (SaaS), VLAN, security, VoIP, QoS, BYOD/MDM, P2P, mesh, wireless controller architectures, Wi-Fi protocols and transmission, RF design, indoor/outdoor wireless deployments, packet capture/analysis tools, and WLAN security • Working knowledge of Wi-Fi design tools such as Ekahau Survey/AI Pro and Hamina Network Planner
