• Support execution of product strategy set by senior product leadership • Translate roadmap priorities into well-defined backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Work closely with engineering, design, and QA • Run agile ceremonies • Manage day-to-day prioritization • Keep stakeholders informed on progress and blockers • Build understanding of the federal contracting landscape, including policy, compliance, and procurement impacts on product decisions • Escalate decisions when appropriate and handle decisions independently when possible • Collaborate across a distributed team • Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Take ownership of assigned features and workstreams • Proactively solve problems, ask questions, follow through, seek mentorship, and grow into greater ownership • Support distributed teams serving the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) federal agency
• US Citizenship or Green Card only - we do not offer Sponsorship • US Residency for at least the past 3 years • Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation • 3-5 years of experience in a Product Management role or closely related role (e.g., business analyst, delivery lead) with direct exposure to agile product delivery • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder updates • Working knowledge of agile methodologies and product delivery practices (backlog management, sprint planning, story writing) • Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day priorities and keep delivery on track with light guidance from senior product staff • Comfort working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and QA • Willingness to learn the federal contracting landscape and how policy, compliance, and procurement affect product decisions • Strong attention to detail and follow-through on assigned features and workstreams • Medical or recreational marijuana use may affect ability to obtain Public Trust • Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare data standards, regulations, or systems such as CMS programs, FHIR, eCQMs, or value-based care initiatives • Preferred: Prior professional services, government, or federal consulting experience • Preferred: Exposure to procurement and contracting processes in the public sector or a highly regulated industry • Preferred: Familiarity with ATO processes, FedRAMP, or other federal compliance frameworks • Preferred: Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps in a delivery-team setting • Preferred: Experience working on a remote or distributed team
