📋 Description

• Coordinate and oversee construction-phase projects from award through final closeout • Monitor construction schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets, pay applications, change orders, risk factors, delays, budget variances, and cost impacts • Lead pre-construction meetings and establish project communication and administration procedures • Recommend corrective actions and course corrections to clients when needed • Ensure contract requirements are fulfilled throughout construction • Oversee completion of construction updates and closeout files • Monitor project performance and escalate issues affecting schedule, budget, quality, or client satisfaction • Reinforce expectations for Field Consultants regarding on-site project management and technical excellence • Visit project sites as needed for quality assurance and relationship building • Manage multiple concurrent projects, schedules, resources, and priorities • Serve as primary point of contact for clients and roofing contractors during construction • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders • Collaborate with Consultants, Account Managers, Drafters, and Project Coordinators from kickoff to closeout • Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations • Manage client expectations and facilitate resolution of project issues • Provide timely feedback on Daily Construction Reports and client communication • Review and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications • Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal standards • Review material submittals, RFIs, and change order/change directive requests • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend workflow and client-satisfaction improvements • Represent Benchmark's professionalism, technical excellence, and client service • Participate in training as needed • Contribute to projects and initiatives requested by the Roof Leadership Team • Promote accountability, safety, and technical excellence within the team

🎯 Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across the U.S. (10-20% of the time) • 2-5 years of experience in project management, design, and/or construction administration for commercial and industrial roof projects • General knowledge of commercial roofing systems and construction quality assurance • Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring project teams/subcontractors • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities • Strong organizational and project planning skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to build and maintain strong, positive, and lasting relationships with clients • Passion for technical excellence, commitment to quality, and continuous learning, growth, and improvement • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. • Ability to access commercial/industrial roofs via ladders, stairs, and/or steps • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods of time • Ability to crawl in and out of confined spaces on occasion • Preferred: project management experience in engineering, architecture, construction management, or roofing product manufacturing • Preferred: familiarity with ERP systems; Benchmark uses Deltek Vantagepoint • Preferred: exposure to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
