📋 Description

• Install, administer, and support applications running on virtualized platforms, including Linux/Unix, Windows, and OpenShift • Deploy, configure, and support IBM middleware technologies such as CP4I, App Connect Enterprise, API Connect, DataPower, MQ, or WebSphere Application Server • Collaborate with OEM vendors to troubleshoot software issues when needed • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software application stack issues to minimize downtime • Participate in capacity planning and perform application software upgrades to meet evolving business requirements • Document application configurations, procedures, and system changes to maintain accurate and accessible records • Work closely with application and development teams to support integration, deployment, and adoption of new technologies • Participate in an on‑call rotation to provide 24×7 production support coverage

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience providing application support on virtualized distributed platforms (Linux/Unix, Windows, OpenShift) • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex software application issues • Experience supporting IBM middleware technologies: OpenShift CP4I, App Connect Enterprise, API Connect, DataPower, MQ, WebSphere Application Server • Experience with shell scripting (Linux/Unix, PowerShell, Perl) • Experience with TLS certificate management • Familiarity with automation/configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform • Experience working in DevOps environments • Exposure to collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence, or SharePoint • Ability to maintain, support, and optimize application components to ensure secure, efficient system performance • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across technical and business teams.
