📋 Description

• Provide independent mental health therapy through BetterHelp’s online telehealth platform • Establish a full clinical caseload through consistent referrals • Conduct scheduled live sessions and communicate through journal entries, audio and video messages, clinical worksheets, and goal setting/tracking • Apply clinical judgment and expertise to determine effective, clinically appropriate approaches for each client • Focus on clinical work while BetterHelp handles client acquisition, billing, support, and operations • Work with clients matched to the therapist’s areas of expertise and specific populations or presenting concerns • Conduct sessions from a private and professional environment

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience (required) • Master’s degree (required) • Full Independent Clinical license, such as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, Psychologist, or PsyD • Must be fully licensed by a State Board to provide therapy independently and without supervision • Experience counseling adults, couples, and/or teens • Private and professional environment for conducting sessions • Excellent written communication • Professional liability insurance • Reliable Internet connection • Currently residing in the US • Not an intern and not requiring supervision to provide therapy services • Substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches are not accepted unless they have an additional license as a mental health counselor
