📋 Description

• Provide research support for regional teams and field offices on politics, economics, regulatory policy, international trade, strategic communications and business intelligence • Prepare and edit client briefings, profiles, presentations, memos, research papers and event handbooks • Aid in developing country-specific news updates for clients • Monitor relevant news items on sector-specific developments • Cover Indo-Pacific events at think tanks, universities and other institutions and provide summaries to staff • Provide logistical support for Washington events • Support the research team and larger client services team as needed • Assist with data inputting and administrative tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Strong research, analysis, writing and editing skills • Ability to convey critical insights on the political economy and business policy environment • Familiarity with the AP Stylebook is a plus • Computer competence with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web browsing tools • Knowledge of and/or experience with South Asia/India • Specific knowledge in areas such as finance, energy, information technology and electronics, transport and distribution, manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or media is ideal • Professional-level English language skills required • Graduate students and undergraduate upperclassmen are encouraged to apply • Cover letter, CV/resume and a 750–1000-word writing sample required for application
