📋 Description

• Manage an active desk of fast-track property damage liability claims under business owner policies • Analyze coverage issues under business owners coverage form, garagekeepers, hired non-owned auto, auto services, and other standard industry forms • Analyze, investigate, and evaluate new loss notices and claim tenders • Adjust total auto losses as part of liability claim adjustment • Analyze and position claims under applicable coverage • Collaborate on setting appropriate claim reserves • Manage allocated loss adjustment expenses during claim investigations • Document claim files according to established guidelines • Draft coverage letters and communicate frequently with attorneys and other parties • Obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree required • Strong analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and clear, concise information delivery • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and meet assigned deadlines • Ability to respond promptly to inquiries with a sense of urgency • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively • Ability to multitask and effectively handle interruptions • Ability to follow instructions and established procedures • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and internet applications • High attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure and exercise good judgment in sensitive situations • 3+ years of prior general liability claims adjusting experience preferred • Experience with bodily injury claims preferred • CPCU or another industry designation is a plus • State adjuster license(s) a plus
