📋 Description

• Turn ambiguous business goals into clear problem statements, product specifications, and backlog items • Own features end to end from discovery through delivery, launch, and iteration • Collaborate with engineering to plan technical delivery and make pragmatic scope tradeoffs • Write user stories, technical acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready documentation • Conduct stakeholder interviews and competitive research • Prioritize the roadmap based on impact, feasibility, and data • Monitor product performance and platform health using analytics, logging, and operational metrics • Pull data, mock up flows, and unblock cross-team dependencies to move work forward

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of product management experience, preferably in a technical or infrastructure-heavy environment • Hands-on experience running game servers (e.g., Minecraft, Valheim, ARK, Rust), including setup, modding, configuration, and troubleshooting • Deep involvement in user-generated content (UGC) gaming communities such as Minecraft, Roblox, or similar • Track record of operating independently and delivering results in fast-moving, loosely structured environments • Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and adjusting quickly as you learn • Experience working directly with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum development cycles • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills • Ability to interpret technical details, understand system constraints, and make informed tradeoff decisions • Familiarity with modern software development practices, including CI/CD workflows, version control, and release management • If in the USA, applicants must reside in Arizona, Idaho, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Washington • Preferred: Experience with cloud infrastructure, server hosting, or developer-facing platforms • Preferred: Understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and backend architecture • Preferred: Familiarity with Docker, orchestration, and hosting control panels • Preferred: Background in computer science or prior experience as an engineer, sysadmin, or technical lead • Preferred: Comfort with SQL, APIs, or scripts • Preferred: Experience with ClickUp, Jira, Figma, Grafana, PostHog, or StatSig • Preferred: Comfort with operational metrics, incident workflows, and platform reliability concerns • Preferred: Startup or small-team experience where you wore multiple hats
