📋 Description
• Design 480VAC power distribution systems, heavy-load feeders, and large-facility electrical layouts • Specify and design electrical and controls systems for industrial blasting and coating facilities • Produce schematics, panel layouts, and detailed electrical documentation in AutoCAD • Ensure all designs meet NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other compliance requirements • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and SMEs to integrate electrical systems into overall facility design • Support procurement and vendors to ensure components meet standards and specifications • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at project sites
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or large-facility projects • Strong background in heavy power design (main feeders, distribution systems, and high-load equipment) • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore a plus • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and related codes • Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
