📋 Description

• Identify and advise the company regarding legal risk arising from organizational activities. • Advise company management on regulatory compliance, policies, practices, procedures, and contractual terms and conditions. • Assist in overseeing implementation of company standards regarding organizational activity. • Manage legal department administrative staff and their activities to ensure department objectives are met. • Ensure company practices, policies, and procedures comply with corporate regulatory requirements. • Research and interpret statutes, laws, rules, decisions, ordinances, and regulations. • Prepare corporate policies and procedures by analyzing operational and administrative needs. • Assist with the department’s annual business plan and facilitate participation from department members. • Review, negotiate, and edit owner contracts in collaboration with operations leaders and department leadership. • Advise operations personnel on contractual risks and negotiation strategies. • Act as agent of the corporation for assigned transactions and related projects.

🎯 Requirements

• A Juris Doctorate required. • Admitted to the Bar. • Minimum 3-8 years total experience required; including experience with general contract principles, contract and construction law, and commercial contracts. • Experience in Renewables, Energy Parks or related technologies. • Valid, independent work authorization required; the employer cannot sponsor H-1B visas or permanent residency.
