📋 Description

• Reads and understands the electrical scope of projects that are in RFP/estimating phase. • Develops a plan/design that incorporates power quality, reliability, cost efficiency, and Blattner Energy lessons learned into each proposal. • Support the design, development, and execution of large-scale Energy Parks and integrated energy campus projects. • Provide technical expertise across electrical, mechanical, controls, and utility infrastructure systems. • Review engineering designs, specifications, studies, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for complex energy infrastructure projects. • Directs a team that generates design drawings and documents for the Estimators and Supply Chain to bid. • Ensures takeoffs are complete and accurate. • Coordinate with other Senior Engineers to establish plans for resources and design schedules on project designs. • Performs drawing reviews of 3rd party engineering firms design packages to ensure designs meet industry and Blattner’s standards and best practices. • Ensures that designs support safe work practices and comply with all applicable safety standards including NESC, NEC, and NFPA.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field from an ABET accredited college required. • Five or more years of progressive engineering, engineering supervisory, and/or construction/field experience in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required.
