📋 Description

• Lead projects or workstreams that translate business problems into workable data science solutions • Propose different approaches and oversee delivery of predictive analytics, models, and algorithms • Develop project plans with milestones, dates, owners, risks, and contingency plans • Assemble and evaluate large, complex data sets from clients and external sources • Manage data selection criteria and transformations to meet functional business requirements • Build analytics tools communicating actionable insights into customer acquisition, retention, margin improvement, operational efficiency, and other business performance metrics • Perform data cleaning, data hygiene, quality control, and data integration from client internal and external sources • Summarize and describe data and data issues • Conduct exploratory data analysis, data mining, and statistical data analysis • Document key insights, findings, predictive models, and machine learning results • Train, validate, and cross-validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms • Assist clients with deploying models and algorithms within their architecture • Manage data analyst project work

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field • Two years of related work experience in advanced data science • Two years of experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis • Two years of experience with advanced data science software languages and tools • Two years of experience with query languages, semi-structured data, and relational databases, including query authoring and tuning • Two years of experience with cloud-based computing and storage platforms • Ability to work remotely from any U.S. location • Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time to unanticipated client sites
