📋 Description

• Capture field data and schedule/plan site visits with growers, farm cooperatives, and others • Provide in-field engineering support through data collection, field testing, agronomic trials, troubleshooting, diagnosis, resolution, and documentation • Interface with Product Management and Engineering to communicate customers' evolving needs • Perform hands-on setup, maintenance, testing, and customization in the field • Track recurring issues from identification through resolution • Transport and operate field equipment • Travel extensively, often staying away from home for weeks at a time • Work on a 6- or 12-month contract, with possible extension or return for the next season

🎯 Requirements

• Farming and agricultural-related background and knowledge • Experience safely operating agricultural machinery in a field environment • Proficiency with basic computer operation and software systems • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills • Willingness to work outdoors and travel, if needed • Safe driving record and ability to operate company vehicles • Preferred: 2+ years supporting, maintaining, or operating modern outdoor equipment and precision agriculture systems • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Agriculture, Engineering, or a related technical area • Preferred: Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving software, electronics, and mechanical systems • Must be able to perform extensive physical activities, work outdoors in varied weather, and frequently lift/move over 40 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds • Visa sponsorship is not available
