📋 Description

• Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting • Provide direct patient care • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments • Develop individualized treatment plans • Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate • Deliver patient care in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines • Work within collaborative clinical teams consisting of multiple therapists and a psychiatric prescriber • Connect with eligible psychotherapists seeking a prescriber during onboarding, with team matching facilitated by BlueSky • Participate in regular staffing with collaborating therapists at least monthly to discuss patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical topics • Provide clinical services remotely from home • Participate in virtual clinical team meetings • Attend BlueSky clinical conferences at least once per week during the first 90 days and once per month thereafter

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one served state: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA • Must be willing to obtain additional state licenses as needed • At least six months of prior experience working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) • Must not own or operate a private practice • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals • Strong clinical background in psychiatry and behavioral health • Strong knowledge and experience in assessment and diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatment • Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions • Strong computer skills and comfort using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and other basic technology • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to provide patient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth environment
