📋 Description

• Organize, manage, conduct, and direct health services research projects • Handle day-to-day administrative and management issues for ongoing research studies • Supervise research staff and manage research databases for enrollment reporting • Serve as study liaison with the Institutional Review Board • Manage project finances, purchasing, supplies, equipment, purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking • Assist with grant proposal development and prepare research reports, presentations, manuscripts, and research materials • Assist the PI and Co-PI with recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of Research Assistants • Recruit and enroll study participants using approved methodologies • Explain research projects and procedures and obtain informed consent • Review data collection forms for completeness and quality and supervise data entry • Monitor participant databases and generate appointment and reminder reports • Obtain and distribute participant compensation or reimbursement vouchers • Supervise data and specimen collection, notify patients of results, and coordinate follow-up or referrals • Facilitate IRB approvals, documentation, and reporting • Perform Data Monitoring and Safety Board administrative duties, including adverse-event tracking and reporting • Establish or assist with advisory boards, plan meetings, and provide requested information

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Minimum 5 years' clinical research, public health experience or other relevant experience • May consider 3 years of experience for candidates with a Master's degree • Previous experience with grant writing, IRB submissions, data management, and database development preferred • Excellent English communication skills, oral and written • Bilingual or multi-lingual skills beyond English are a plus • Cultural sensitivity and comfort with a wide range of social, racial and ethnic populations • Knowledge of MS Office applications, database systems, and Internet • Experience using quantitative data analysis software helpful, such as SPSS, SAS, or Minitab • Must maintain strict confidentiality of personal and health-sensitive information
