⢠Support the CHAMPS National program, a CDC-funded hospital-based initiative promoting evidence-based maternity practices ⢠Develop protocols and assessment instruments ⢠Monitor program implementation and provide training, including quality-improvement training ⢠Assist with manuscripts, presentations, and CDC reporting ⢠Provide support and resources to CHAMPS National hospitals ⢠Coordinate research project management activities from initiation through implementation ⢠Collaborate with Boston University departments and universities on joint projects ⢠Provide expert guidance and assistance to facilities working with the CHEER program ⢠Coordinate research and hospital teams and manage project timelines and milestones ⢠Meet with stakeholders to collect and communicate business and research requirements ⢠Produce project plans, research schedules, progress reports, and investigational applications ⢠Develop qualitative and quantitative research plans, questionnaires, and moderator guides ⢠Coordinate fieldwork, pre-research and post-research analyses, and evaluations ⢠Ensure protocol adherence, quality assurance, and HIPAA compliance ⢠Oversee onsite and offsite data collection and interpret data ⢠Collaborate with Principal Investigators on journal articles and research presentations ⢠Supervise, train, mentor, and develop Research Coordinators and Research Assistants ⢠Schedule and facilitate staff meetings ⢠Assist with expense monitoring, contracts, material ordering, and variance documentation ⢠Liaise with Institutional Review Boards regarding submissions and regulatory binders ⢠Assist with funding proposals ⢠Manage Data Monitoring and Safety Board administrative duties, adverse-event tracking, and reporting ⢠Manage data collection, hospital meetings, and maternity staff trainings ⢠Travel to hospitals and community-based project locations as required
⢠Bachelor's degree in business management or a field related to the project ⢠Minimum of 5 years of progressively more responsible experience in research public health, health care administration and/or related field ⢠Experience managing projects and operations ⢠Highly organized and detail-oriented ⢠Exceptional oral communication and writing skills ⢠Demonstrated proficiency in project management, including budgeting, planning, execution, delivery, quality assurance, and reporting ⢠Experience in data analysis and manuscript preparation is helpful ⢠Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel ⢠Proactive problem-solving, planning, program coordination, and leadership skills ⢠Ability to travel to hospitals across the United States and its territories or community-based project locations
