📋 Description

• Develop, test, and deploy standard reports and dashboards from business requirement specifications • Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and business users to document requirements and report specifications • Incorporate data from hospital and physician billing, budget, cost accounting, and general ledger systems • Lead or support special projects requiring research and analysis • Partner with other business areas to identify and resolve issues • Foster collaboration across revenue cycle stakeholders and align strategies and initiatives • Drive analytics and reporting toward modern, industry-standard technologies • Apply data science, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics to revenue cycle challenges, denials management, accounts receivable optimization, and cash forecasting • Develop and maintain standardized certified datasets for Revenue Cycle KPI metrics • Develop predictive models to prioritize work queues and root-cause analysis frameworks • Translate and communicate analyses and assumptions to senior management for decision-making • Train others on relevant software and analytical tools

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Health Informatics, finance, or a related field • Epic Revenue Data Model (Clarity) Certification required • 3+ years of related managed healthcare or insurance operations experience • Excellent understanding of hospital billing and professional billing data • Demonstrated expertise with SQL, Crystal Reports, and Tableau • Expertise with relational database concepts, data modeling, and OLAP technologies • Advanced data analytics and governance expertise • Experience developing predictive models and root-cause analysis frameworks • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and group-dynamics skills • Experience communicating key analyses and assumptions to senior management • Experience with general ledger systems, spreadsheets, word processing software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and analytical tools • Ability to work independently in a complex, demanding environment with time-sensitive deadlines • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet due dates • Demonstrated leadership abilities • Ability to adapt quickly to change and act as a change agent • Proficient in SQL, Tableau, PowerPoint, and Excel • Must complete a background check before employment • Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and flu and receive a COVID-19 booster dose
