📋 Description

• Support the Bank of Montreal’s Enterprise Chief Data Office in advancing enterprise data management priorities • Translate governance objectives, operating models, policies, and strategic priorities into actionable plans, executive-ready deliverables, governance materials, and measurable outcomes • Contribute to enterprise data strategy and governance initiatives through analysis, planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution support • Develop presentations, briefing materials, dashboards, reports, and communications for executive and stakeholder audiences • Manage assigned deliverables, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items across data strategy and governance workstreams • Analyze information from multiple sources and synthesize findings into insights, recommendations, and decision-support materials • Identify opportunities to improve governance processes, reporting capabilities, stakeholder engagement, and operational effectiveness • Support the development, enhancement, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data governance policies, standards, procedures, and related artifacts • Research and analyze impacts, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities related to governance, regulatory, and transformation initiatives • Document governance requirements, accountability models, ownership structures, decision rights, and operating procedures • Contribute to governance reporting, metrics, monitoring, adoption tracking, and compliance support • Maintain governance documentation, inventories, repositories, and decision records • Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, working groups, and stakeholder engagements • Prepare agendas, materials, action tracking, follow-up, charters, operating procedures, decision logs, and supporting documentation • Partner with business, technology, risk, compliance, and data management stakeholders to support governance priorities and resolve implementation questions • Develop communications, training materials, adoption resources, and readiness activities • Monitor stakeholder feedback, governance outcomes, and adoption trends to identify continuous improvement opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in enterprise data management, data governance, business analysis, strategy execution, project delivery, risk management, change management, consulting, or related disciplines • Experience supporting complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups • Experience developing executive-ready presentations, communications, reports, dashboards, or governance materials • Ability to manage multiple priorities, synthesize complex information, and drive work to completion with limited supervision • Experience working within highly regulated industries • Understanding of risk, compliance, regulatory, audit, and implementation considerations • Knowledge of enterprise data management and data governance fundamentals • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, ownership, stewardship, and accountability concepts • Knowledge of governance processes, policies, standards, procedures, and controls • Experience with program reporting, metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and executive communications • Stakeholder engagement, change management, and business adoption support skills • Strategic analysis, problem solving, and business case development • Ability to independently manage deliverables, coordinate stakeholders, facilitate working sessions, structure ambiguous problems, and translate complex information into clear recommendations and actionable outcomes • Strong analytical thinking, executive communication, governance execution, stakeholder management, program coordination, and continuous improvement skills • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
