📋 Description

• Design, develop, manage, and implement strategic initiatives from business case development through execution • Develop business goals and key performance metrics for initiative and program monitoring • Coordinate across groups and provide logistical support for change implementation • Advise senior leaders on business decisions and strategic initiatives • Gather competitive insights and best practices through industry networking • Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies • Manage resources and lead execution of strategic initiatives to achieve business and financial goals • Develop business cases, identify needs, analyze options, and assess expected return on investment • Recommend business priorities, resource requirements, and strategic execution roadmaps • Lead initiative and program execution, adapting as needed to ensure quality • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including regulators • Define business requirements for analytics and reporting • Lead change management programs, including readiness assessment, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment • Direct planning and implementation of operational programs for an assigned digital portfolio or strategy • Recommend and implement solutions based on business issue analysis • Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making • Build effective stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment • Analyze strategic problems, data, and information to provide insights and recommendations • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards • Monitor and track performance and address issues • Review ongoing programs for effectiveness and recommend enhancements • Operate as a senior specialist resource across BMO • Influence cross-functional collaboration and solve complex, ambiguous problems • Apply the Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 9+ years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Financial services and technology exposure • Expert understanding of digital issues and trends and how to leverage technology for competitive advantage • Expert knowledge of digital channels and workplace technology platforms and services • Extensive industry knowledge • Technical leadership and innovation expertise • Expert verbal and written communication skills • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills • Expert influence skills • Expert collaboration and team skills, focused on cross-group collaboration • Ability to manage ambiguity • Expert data-driven decision-making skills • Ability to apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework, Risk Culture, approved Risk Appetite, policies, laws, and regulations
