📋 Description

• Identify disease- and product-related medical needs in a defined geography • Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders, Healthcare Providers, academic and community research leaders, and access stakeholders • Conduct meaningful scientific exchange through one-to-one interactions, group presentations, and remote channels • Present scientific information accurately and compliantly and respond to medical questions • Assess the medical landscape, stakeholder needs, treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, HEOR, and scientific activities • Identify opportunities for disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research • Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings and communicate medical insights to medical and commercial organizations • Develop geography-specific Field Medical and Thought Leader interaction plans • Contribute to institution/account plans and scientifically meaningful medical programs and projects • Collaborate with cross-matrix field teams and provide scientific training and updates to internal stakeholders • Provide scientific support at promotional meetings and participate in assigned congress activities • Support interventional and non-interventional research studies, including site identification, feasibility recommendations, patient recruitment, and safe/effective use discussions • Support investigator-sponsored research submission, execution, and follow-up • Ensure investigators understand and apply pharmacovigilance procedures and alert BMS personnel to adverse events • Support CRO-sponsored studies as agreed with home office medical and Global Development Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (i.e., MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, PA-C, etc.) • Minimum 3–5 years of MSL or clinical practice experience • Current MSL or clinical practice experience in psychiatry, mental health, or schizophrenia • Proven track record of establishing, maintaining, and enhancing effective collegial relationships with external experts • Knowledge of disease area, scientific publications, scientific or clinical area, competitive landscape, and patient treatment trends • Knowledge of clinical trial design and process • Knowledge of the national healthcare and access environment • Knowledge of HEOR core concepts • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written • Ability to work independently and act as a team player • Ability to translate scientific or clinical data into an understandable and valuable form • Good communication and presentation skills for research or healthcare professionals • Experience developing peer-to-peer relationships with Thought Leaders, scientists, and community-based HCPs • Ability to quickly and comprehensively learn new subject areas and environments • Ability to drive a company-provided car • Responsible and safe driving history • Must live within the territory managed or within 50 miles of the territory borders • Travel required
