📋 Description

• Apply radiopharmaceutical-specific modeling expertise to research and development of new drugs and therapies • Perform radiopharmaceutical dose modelling and analyze in vitro and in vivo, clinical diagnostic, and therapeutic study data • Lead translational dosimetry analyses, including physiologically based pharmacokinetic and compartmentalization modelling • Provide technical support, dosimetry calculations, training, and problem-solving solutions to cross-functional teams • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and subject-matter experts • Support internal dosimetry analysis for discovery and development of radiopharmaceutical imaging and therapeutic agents • Design experiments and analyze dosimetric data from PET and SPECT imaging to assess drug uptake and distribution • Advise on best practices and standardization for image data quality control in preclinical research • Analyze preclinical and clinical imaging data to advance animal-to-human dose projection • Explore new technologies and modelling approaches, including novel radioisotopes such as alpha-emitters • Contribute to medical physics knowledge in radiopharmaceuticals • Apply AI to improve team execution and decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in Medical Physics or Engineering with didactic training in RPT biodistribution, kinetics and dose modelling; PhD preferred • Minimum of 6 years of experience in molecular imaging and RPT dose modelling research, or 3 years of extensive RPT-specific publications (10+) • Experience with radiopharmaceuticals as therapeutics in oncology strongly desired • Experience with alpha-emitters strongly desired • Subject Matter Expert in mathematical pharmacokinetic modeling and its application in radiopharmaceutical research and development • Technical skills with dosimetry software, coding, and simulation/modeling/statistical tools, including 3D-RD-S, MIM, MIRDcalc, OLINDA, Torch, GATE, SIMIND, SAAM II, SimBiology, Python, Matlab, R, SPSS, ITK-snap, 3D slicer, and Elastix • Ability to communicate clearly and think creatively when problem-solving on multidisciplinary projects • Proven track record coordinating and aligning cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on corporate timelines in a team environment • Excellent communication skills and ability to present and discuss imaging and dosimetry topics clearly and concisely, including with scientific experts globally • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively with minimal supervision in a constantly changing environment • Recognized leadership skills, professional ethics, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information • Willingness to travel when needed (10–15%), including conference attendance that may involve evening and weekend work • Current knowledge of global dosimetry guidelines and passion for pioneering alpha-emitting radiotherapeutics a plus • Ability to meet physical demands, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
