📋 Description

• Review contract plans and specifications for constructability • Determine compliance of construction materials and workmanship • Oversee construction and renovation projects • Support the construction team with day-to-day operational needs and special projects • Support renovation projects from start to finish, including administrative tasks as needed • Inspect construction work and provide quality assurance services • Interact with contractors and contractor representatives on construction sites • Communicate with organizational stakeholders, exchange and review information, and make decisions • Collaborate with diverse teams, vendors, and community stakeholders • Travel periodically to project sites, including active construction and renovation locations • Operate office technology and construction-related equipment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university • Ten (10) years of relevant specialized experience in construction and/or construction management • Prior experience working with tribal communities in remote locations • Experience managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects is highly beneficial • Experience with federal construction projects is strongly preferred • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documents • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with attention to safety and quality • Effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams, vendors, and community stakeholders • Familiarity with construction software tools, scheduling applications, and standard office productivity software • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or passport for commercial airfare travel • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license • Ability to maintain broadband internet service with at least 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload for remote work; some positions may require 200–300 Mbps download / 25–35 Mbps upload • Cellular hotspot or fixed wireless cellular services may not be used as the primary connection • Ability to work atypical hours during site visits when requested by the client or required by the role • Ability to work on one's feet at construction sites, including walking across varied terrain • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs • Ability to obtain required PPE and work around construction noise, dust, and other job-site conditions
