📋 Description

• Meet with inventors and draft patent applications for filing with the USPTO • Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO, including interviewing Examiners • Collaborate with clients and other BoMc attorneys to develop and refine claim strategies • Proactively manage a docket of cases across clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies • Draft noninfringement and invalidity opinions • Conduct due diligence investigations • Perform freedom-to-operate and patent landscape analyses under partner supervision • Handle post-grant proceedings before the USPTO, including Inter Partes Reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or significant experience working in electrical engineering • 2+ years of patent prosecution experience focused on electrical engineering • Positive attitude toward client service • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and professional service skills, written and verbal • Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and work in a team environment • Self-starter with commitment to success and personal professional growth • Enjoy being involved in all aspects of a vibrant law firm team • Law school and undergraduate transcripts should be submitted with the application or when contacted by the firm • Cover letter required with resume
